Display a Message containing the reason for shutdown

How funny it will be when the system is put to shutdown suddenly saying “I worked for a long time. I need rest”. In general it won’t happen. But you can make it happen to surprise your friend.
No need to learn or master any coding languages. You can do it simply with the command prompt.
Most of us are unaware of the command prompt techniques. But once you know the techniques you can have a lot fun.
So, to the above mentioned trick here is the procedure. Try and have fun……

Type shutdown -s  -t 500 -c "I worked for a long time. I need rest." (With the quotes) in the Command

How to make BOOTABLE FLASH drive

we know how to install the OS from a CD. But when it comes to install the OS from a pen drive so many think that an extra software is needed. But there are some ways where we can install the OS from a pen drive and that too without using the additional software ( just by using command prompt). Here is how we can do that. Enjoy..... :-)

1) Save all data on your flash drive to another location if you want to keep it.
  2) Insert the flash drive into a USB port on your computer.
3) Click the Windows "Start” menu, type “cmd” in the Search field and press “Enter.” This will bring up the Command Prompt. Type “diskpart” and press “Enter.” The Diskpart window will open.

The basics of FPGA mathematics

One of the many benefits of an FPGA-based solution is the ability to implement a mathematical algorithm in the best possible manner for the problem at hand. For example, if response time is critical, then we can pipeline the stages of mathematics. But if accuracy of the result is more important, we can use more bits to ensure we achieve the desired precision. Of course, many modern FPGAs also provide the benefit of embedded multipliers and DSP slices, which can be used to obtain the optimal implementation in the target device.
Let’s take a look at the rules and techniques...

How to Implement STATE MACHINES on FPGA

State machines are often the backbone of FPGA development. Choosing the right architecture and implementation methods will ensure that you obtain an optimal solution.

LETTER FROM ABRAHAM LINCOLN TO HIS SON’S TEACHER

I had this letter as a lesson in my Eighth class. I was very much impressed by this letter. Often i wonder on what principles life has to be lead. This is a perfect solution for that. I like this letter so much that i thought of tearing those paper(i have to return that text book to librarian). But for some reason i didn't do that.I searched for it for a long time, asked my friends but it was of no use.
Finally one day, to my goodness, i found this in a magazine ( it was published on the occasion of TEACHER'S DAY). So, i wanted to share this BEAUTIFUL letter with you. Finally thanks to ABRAHAM LINCOLN  for giving such a wonderful message/guidance to us..  :-)

LETTER FROM ABRAHAM LINCOLN TO HIS SON’S TEACHER

My son starts school today. It is all going to be strange and new to him for a while and I wish you would treat him gently ; but do not cuddle him because only the test of fire makes fine steel.

It is an adventure that might take him across continents. All adventures that probably include wars, tragedy and sorrow.

To live this life will require faith, love and courage.

Logical Thinking

Many years ago in a small Indian village, a farmer had the misfortune of owing a large sum of money to a village moneylender.

The Moneylender, who was old and ugly, fancied the farmer's beautiful Daughter. So he proposed a bargain.

He said he would forgo the farmer's debt if he could marry his Daughter. Both the farmer and his daughter were horrified by the Proposal.

So the cunning money-lender suggested that they let Providence decide the matter.

He told them that he would put a black Pebble and a white pebble into an empty money bag. Then the girl would have to pick one pebble from the bag.

- If she picked the black pebble, she would become his wife and her father's debt would be forgiven.

I was at the sixth floor of my hostel...........

I was at the sixth floor of my hostel.
It was almost midnight. By this time, most of the people might not be sleeping. But majority of them might be trying hard to sleep. We get up at 5 in the morning and sleep at 10 in the night. And, the rest of our lives just revolve around EAMCET, IIT and BITS. It’s been one year since I came to this place and I need to be here for another year. May be, I need to stay here for longer duration because I’d already failed in two subjects and I wasn’t sure whether I’d pass all the subjects in the second year. I was sure that I wouldn’t be in Engineering and that reason was enough for me to end my life. That was why I was at the terrace of my hostel.
One step ahead will end my life. How simple is Death!! But it takes lot of courage for that one simple step. After struggling hard for about 5-10 minutes, I finally decided to step ahead. And like hell lot of other stories, someone stopped me from doing it. When I looked back, I could see an old man
